Discover the presentation of the winegrower
The estate was created in 1929 by the great-grandfather Robert JOILLOT, winegrower and nurseryman in Pommard. Their son, Georges JOILLOT succeeded his father until his sudden death in 1971.
The activity is therefore twofold: wine-growing and production of vine plants. In 1981, Jean-Luc JOILLOT, 3rd generation and in collaboration with his mother Simone JOILLOT, took up the torch, 6 hectares of vines were then exploited.
In the 1980s and 1990s, the estate grew with the acquisition of plots of Pommard 1er Cru – Les Epenots and 1er Cru & Les Charmots.
In 2019, the 4th generation joined the estate which currently has 14 hectares of vines: Simon GOUTARD son-in-law of Jean-Luc, Jeanne JOILLOT his daughter and Grégoire GUIDOT his son-in-law continue the tradition while modernizing the estate.
From the 2019 vintage and in homage to Jean-Luc father, we decided to rename the estate with the name of Georges JOILLOT.
